Miguel Gonzalez-Capiello is the Project Management Office (PMO) Lead at Professional Management Consulting Services (PMCS). In this role, Miguel oversees all client-facing and internal projects, meticulously following our rigorous project management methodologies and tools. His leadership ensures that the PMO functions as a management oversight body for our client-facing projects, delivering stellar contract deliverables on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
Throughout his career, Miguel has supported a diverse array of clients across various industries, including government and the private sector. He brings nearly two decades of project management experience, complemented by a decade of consulting expertise, which has been instrumental in driving successful outcomes for numerous complex projects.
Miguel is highly esteemed for his consistent track record of punctuality, adept management of scope and risk, and robust stakeholder engagement. He is proficient in project planning, resource allocation, and meticulous monitoring of assumptions and dependencies. His leadership prowess fosters maximum team performance, characterized by hands-on guidance and efficient coordination within project teams. As a Senior System Analyst (Project Manager), Miguel quickly mastered all aspects of Workday and GEICO’s project handling without requiring supervision. During his tenure as a Project Manager with Nationwide, he successfully led multiple internal projects simultaneously, working closely with high-level company executives. As a Managerial Consultant at Axios, Miguel demonstrated versatility by working with various companies and industries (Retail, Brewery, and Consumer Staples). He managed the PMO that implemented a large Oracle Retail ERP System across over 170 stores for Venezuela’s largest pharmacy.
Miguel’s deep information technology background stems from his experience as a System Analyst and Administrator at Inelectra, an engineering company. He led teams, collaborated closely with cross-functional groups, and successfully drove project results there. His technical expertise includes Oracle, PL/SQL, Lotus Script, Visual Basic, ABAP-SAP, advanced Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Waterfall, PMPBOOK Methodologies, and Primavera.
He holds a BA in System Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela, and an MBA from Purdue University – Krannert School of Management in West Lafayette, IN.
