Chief Operating Officer

Rehva Jones serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Professional Management Consulting Services (PMCS). She is a distinguished business leader, catalytic strategist, and expert problem-solver with over 20 years of experience in operations and performance management, strategic planning, and organizational development across government, private, not-for-profit, and educational institutions. Renowned for her ability to navigate and deliver outstanding results in complex environments, Rehva has consistently driven significant improvements and innovations throughout her career.

Rehva’s professional journey is characterized by her exceptional ability to manage large-scale projects and implement transformative solutions that enhance operational performance. Her strategic insights and hands-on approach have not only led to the successful execution of numerous initiatives but have also significantly contributed to PMCS’s growth and competitive edge.

Before joining PMCS, Rehva held several pivotal leadership positions in local government, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. She has a proven track record in strategic advising to executive leadership, change management, organizational development, program design and evaluation, and process optimization. Her notable achievements include streamlining operations to achieve substantial cost savings, leading digital transformation initiatives, and enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Rehva has served in a variety of management and executive roles. At Trinity Washington University, she served as the Director of Business Programs and Department Chair of the School of Business and Graduate Studies, providing visionary leadership in academic, policy, research, and administrative matters. She oversaw MBA, MSA, B.S. in Accounting, and B.S. in Business Administration programs, spearheading the development and launch of online business programs that meet high standards of excellence and compliance.

As a Strategic Planning and Performance Officer for nearly a decade at the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education, Rehva implemented numerous impactful projects, including OSSE’s student enrollment audit, managing the Office of Enrollment and Residency, and enhancing the agency’s operational performance management. Her efforts in this role were recognized with the prestigious Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Award for Distinguished Government Service.

Rehva also served as the Director of Data and Evaluation at America Achieves, where she ensured alignment between strategy, budget, and operations, designed and implemented performance metrics, and led comprehensive program evaluation efforts.

Rehva’s academic journey reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous learning. She graduated with honors from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School, where she earned a Master of Business Administration. Her dedication to public leadership is further evidenced by her certification as a Certified Public Manager through George Washington University’s Center for Excellence. Rehva is also nearing the completion of her Higher Education Administration doctoral program at the University of Wyoming.
