PMCS has been honored with multiple commendations from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for our comprehensive expertise in the strategic planning, project management, system design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of a Direct Certification application. This application has been pivotal in qualifying children across DC public schools, including both DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools, for free meal programs. Our innovative work was featured in the USDA's 2013 monthly newsletter, highlighting our achievements. Furthermore, the USDA invited PMCS to present at a national conference in Denver, Colorado, to share insights, best practices and educate other states on the success of this project.

DC OneApp

Center for Digital Government

PMCS successfully orchestrated the requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation of the DC OneApp Application, an innovative online system tailored for managing college financial aid. The DC OneApp efficiently processed over $300 million in college financial aid through our custom solution. This groundbreaking application was honored with the Digital Education Achievement Award by the Center for Digital Government in recognition of our commitment to excellence in digital education solutions and adherence to best practices in IT policies at state and local government levels.

PMCS was distinguished with the Hot Dog Award by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in recognition of our exceptional leadership and management in the creation of the Statewide Longitudinal Education Data warehouse (SLED). PMCS played a key role in assisting the government in obtaining over $10 million in federal grants from the US Department of Education, underscoring our capability to drive significant educational initiatives.

Center for Digital Government and Government Technology Magazine

PMCS is proud to have been a pivotal strategic partner in transforming the DC Government's digital presence from 'challenged' to 'exemplary.' Our expertise in IT project management, website and application design, business process reengineering, and quality assurance played a crucial role in the DC Government's portal achieving "Best of the Web" awards from the Center for Digital Government and Government Technology Magazine not once, but twice. Collaboratively, we have managed the design, development, and successful launch of over 60 agency websites and more than 20 custom applications for the District, marking a significant milestone in digital governance.

Implementing the SLED system

PMCS has been honored with invitations from both the US Department of Education (Ed) and the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) to present at Ed annual state data conferences. At these esteemed gatherings, we were tasked with sharing our refined best practices, strategic insights, design methodologies, integration tactics, development processes, quality assurance protocols, organizational change management, and data governance strategies. Our presentations focus on the successful implementation of the SLED system — DC's pioneering state-wide educational data warehouse, showcasing our role in shaping this innovative educational resource.
